Edit Document Types

A document type is a way of categorising documents and can be associated with a document and used as a filter during document management.

To add a new Area:

  1. Log in to Approvals.
  2. In the Document Management menu, select Edit Document Types.
  3. Type the name in the Enter New Name text box.
  4. Click on the Add button.

To delete an existing Document Type, click on the Delete button alongside its name. If you want to change the Document Type's name, you will need to delete it and create a new Type.
